~ #cc185 ~ Schoolgirl Samplers ~

Here are two of my latest schoolgirl sampler designs made to fit in 8" x 10" and 9" x 12" wood frames.   This stitching technique involves using a "light table" method to trace the design onto your fabric with a water soluble pen, and then stitching on your traced lines using backstitches and what I call "primitive" cross-stitches.  I recommend using linen or muslin material to complete my samplers.  Included with this pattern is a free "olde crow" pillow design.

This pattern features a 7-1/2" x 11-1/2" and a 6" x 12" stitchery, and 13" square pillow. Instructions include suppliers for the wood frames & wool, plus tea dyeing instructions.
