Mission Statement
The Bereavement Ministry provides support to parishioners by helping them through the grief due to the loss of a loved one and helping others through continued spiritual growth. Ministers are professionally trained and facilitate continued liaison between the clergy and the grieving.

Short Term Goals
(1) Increase the number of ministers.
(2) Continue to facilitate support of the grieving of the parish by way of communication and awareness that a bereavement resource exists. This includes liturgy planning and parish community support at a most needed time.
(3) Update the library of books and pamphlets.
(4) Train ministers who plan the Mass of Christian Burial (Planners) with the bereaved and provide appropriate comfort.
(5) Coordinate activities in conjunction with other parish organizations.

Long Term Goal
Continue to provide an on-going resource for the parish in a spirit of fellowship and community.
