Fr. Joseph Panthackal  M.A., M.Ed., a Vincentian priest from India, was born on May 17, 1943 in Vandamattam, Kerala.  He was ordained a priest in December 1970.  He has the following degrees:  B.D. (Theology), M.A. (English Language & Literature) and M. Ed. (Education).

Fr. Joe has engaged in various kinds of pastoral activities during the past years of his priesthood. He has traveled throughout the United States,  made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and spent about a month in Europe.  He is looking forward to continuing his Pastoral Ministry for many more years with commitment  and dedication.
